About Beatriz
I am a medical student (3rd period) and passionate about mathematics. I discovered my affinity with the subject during the preparatory course for university entrance exams, but as my goal has always been medicine, I thought my affinity would cool down. Upon entering college, I had the unexpected opportunity to teach math classes for a non-profit ENEM preparatory course for low-income students. There, I was able to learn more about the pedagogy behind the classes and about the importance of teacher-student contact.
In addition to this project, I had the opportunity, during college recess, to give private lessons to children in the 6th and 5th year of Colegio Santo Agostinho-NL.
