About Danilo
My name is Danilo, and I am a dedicated performing musician and guitar instructor with 17 years of playing experience. My journey with the guitar started at age nine, and over the past nearly two decades, I have turned a passion for the instrument into extensive experience on stage, in the recording studio, and in the teaching room.
Currently, I perform live as an active guitarist across multiple bands covering vastly different musical styles. This constant real-world experience directly shapes how I teach. I do not just teach abstract music theory from a textbook; I teach you the practical, real-world skills needed to make your guitar sound great, stay in time, and feel natural under your fingers.
Over the years, I have taught students both in-person and online, working with complete beginners picking up their first instrument as well as experienced players looking to push past technique plateaus. Having played across diverse genres—with a special focus on rock and heavy metal—I know how to adapt my approach to fit your unique learning style and musical taste.

My approach is 100% practical and music-first. Having played for 17 years and performing live across multiple genres, I skip dry, repetitive theory and teach mechanics through real songs and riffs you love. We focus on clean timing, efficient hand mechanics, tone shaping, and building real confidence on the instrument from day one.
A typical lesson
Warm-Up & Technique Check (10 mins): Quick exercise tailored to your goals (picking accuracy, finger independence, or basic chord transitions).
Core Material & Songs (35 mins): Breaking down the riffs, solos, or chord progressions you want to learn, analyzing the mechanics, and fixing bottlenecks in real time.
Tone & Application (10 mins): How to dial in your amp or plugin settings so you sound great at home.
Actionable Recap (5 mins): Clear practice goals and backing track recommendations for the week.
What Sets Me Apart
I am an active live musician currently playing in multiple bands with completely different styles. Because of this, I don't just teach you how to hit notes on a fretboard—I teach you how to sound tight, control your dynamics, dial in killer tones, and make music sound stage-ready.
My lessons are open to all ages and skill levels:
Absolute Beginners: No prior experience needed! I will guide you step-by-step through setting up your guitar, basic finger positioning, open chords, and getting you to play your very first full songs fast without feeling overwhelmed.
Intermediate Players: Breaking out of speed or technique plateaus, mastering heavy rock/metal riffs, clean soloing, and learning how to improvise.
Genre Focus: Rock and metal are my specialty, but my band experience spans diverse styles, so we can tackle whatever genre inspires you.
