About Eleanor
I've played the piano since I was 8, and learnt various other instruments along the way. I'm not classically trained, instead I like to focus on playing music that I enjoy, whether that be jazz, pop, or sometimes even classical!

My name is Eleanor, I am a grade 8 standard in both piano and clarinet and can also teach saxophone and voice. I am best suited to those who don't take music too seriously and just want to have fun with music! I can teach you how to sing and play the piano at the same time, improv jazz on clarinet or saxophone, learn chord progressions and how to play confidently and with bravado! I have an informal, student led teacher style. I do not teach grades because I seek to cultivate a love of music in a student instead of sticking to a strict curriculum.
My lessons are typically an hour long, and catered to the individual student. I can teach beginner and intermediate.
