About John
My name is John and I'm a final year master's mechanical engineering student at Imperial College London. I have over 100 hours online tutoring experience in Maths and Physics, and have taught students through GCSEs and A-Levels. My most recent student accelerated from a C to an A in GCSE Maths and Physics in the 2 months I worked with him. As my course choice and profile shows, I am surrounded every day by Maths and Physics, and love to patiently help others understand and hopefully share my passion! Having studied these subjects at school not too long ago, I can bring a fresh, friendly and relatable atmosphere to the students and make each session feel constructive and enjoyable.

During my sessions, I love to use visual analogies to cement an understanding for the student and feel it will be much more memorable than learning from a book. Firstly, I may start with the topics the students find especially challenging before giving appropriately weighted work for the student to be perfectly comfortable when exam time comes around! Having practised using many past papers during my own studies, I am able to set students questions that run very closely in line with questions they will be asked in the exam.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
Would recommend John, he is very clever and smart and not only teaches you the theory, but goes through the questions, explain how you got it wrong. Not only is he smart but very funny and genuine. Very trustworthy and got me a 7 in maths when I was predicted a 5!
