I am a second year undergraduate physics student at Imperial College with experience in GSCE tutoring. I enjoy tutoring, especially penultimate and ultimate year students.
I aim to help students conceptualize misunderstood concepts in science, but also train them to sit exams and perform well under pressure.
Practice makes perfect- so I expect students to work hard individually as well. In my
view, my role as a tutor is to answer questions, clarify concepts and to provide insightful tips on exam- preparation and the nature of examinations in general.
Not long ago, I was a student myself! I therefore understand the importance of correct teaching- it can make the difference between studying a subject at university, or never opening a maths book again.
I have previously taught GCSE students back in Brussels. I worked with three students in areas of mathematics, physics and chemistry.
They are all currently applying to universities for scientific subjects- I consider that a success!
I am now looking to work with penultimate year students and really transmit the knowledge I have acquired over the years in terms of exams and training, but also in terms of the beauty of mathematics and physics.
