About Rafael
I have taught ICT and maths for years in pupil referral Units. Recently I taught maths for a year in a large Kent secondary school. This year I have been supply teaching KS2 in East London. I have a lot of experience helping students discover that they can understand maths after all.

I target my lessons on your needs. I will ask you what areas you feel you need to work on, and initially work on those. In maths one thing depends on another, so I will often identify supporting skills we need to work on. Success is when you realise you understand something that previously you found difficult.
Many students have difficulty answering exam questions, so decoding these and having strategies to cope with them is a key part of my teaching.
