I usually teach student using handouts and loads of pictures. I always set up a target and complete it. The class will be quite interesting as well as academic. The student will not feel the pressure of the study at all if they stay focused.
I teach by helping students to really understand a topic and to apply knowledge from a wide variety of areas as this is key in biology. I really look into exam technique (when studying for exams) and in tailoring the learning type to the student, whether it be visuallly or practically based.
