When teaching, my methodology is simple and easy for the student to work to. It is to work with the student to not only improve the grades within the subject, but pass on my passion and interest towards the subject as well. I have always found that when the passion for a subject increases, the grades will soon follow.
I am happy to teach to the client's requirement. If a conversation is needed to aide understanding I am happy to have that conversation just as I am happy to provide extra material or advise on reading materials. I give Chemistry and Physics lessons from year 7 up to GCSE level. I enable students to reach their potential by complimenting their school work, working specifically on their areas of weakness. My teaching is primarily done alongside exercises, which I both use to gauge the development of my students as well as to identify topics which need more work.
My teaching method is topic based, and depends upon which area and to which level the student needs tutoring, obviously each student will have a teaching plan catered specifically to them.
First sessions focus on understanding where the students problems lie and the key areas for improvement. I develop a teaching and learning cycle which is unique to how each student responds. Later sessions focus on exam practice and technique in how to get the best possible grades. I believe I am patient and understanding of the students difficulties and desired goals.

A highly motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic researcher with over ten years experience in different aspects of chemical engineering, having excellent potential to learn you chemistry, maths, and physics. Experience in supervising masters and undergraduate students. Assisting PhD students with their research project.
I focus on understanding, using analogies to base key concepts in reality, building knowledge up on top of that, instead of hard memorization and regurgitation of facts. This allows people to not only use their knowledge where necessary but also infer and extrapolate information to solve problems where they lack the knowledge and have to think laterally.
In a one on one setting, I teach based on strengths and weaknesses of the particular student i.e. studying weaknesses 70% of the time while strengths have 30%. However, in a group setting where there's not enough time for one on one talks, I teach topics based on importance or weighting in the course. So more important topics would get 70% of the time while less important would get 30%.
