Hi! My name is Pietro Casabianca and I currently study at Loughborough University. I have a very relaxed approach when it comes to teaching new, or hard, concepts. To me it is important that the fundamentals are understood well, as well as the material must be presented in a fun and simple way so that the attention from the student isn't lost.
I teach physics for almost 10 years spanning through all the national curriculum. I try to give emphasis on reasoning and scientific thinking as I want my students to understand and explain problems in Physics thoroughly. Starting from the lesson's goals, I try to achieve them with the students one by one by the most appropriate and up-to-date activities.
I am a college student who is giving Maths tuition at secondary school level. I focus on repetition and interpersonal maths, wherein we work through problems together and then individually. I use analogy to explain simple concepts like fractions, with visual aids if required.
I am a 19 year old mathematics undergraduate at Loughborough University with experience in tutoring mainly A-Level mathematics but GCSE mathematics is very much possible as well! When I tutor, I first aim to obtain the student's mathematical background to see how much they know before zoning in onto areas which the students struggle with.
My teaching method involves getting the student involved in the subject. I approach each topic from a simplified viewpoint and use easy language to help others understand more complex subjects. I explain everything that is happening and why to help foster a greater appreciation for the subject and to make it easier for the student to retain the information.
It is essential that every student has confidence in their tutor. All of my previous students are reassured by the fact that I achieved A* grades in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics A Level as well as an A in Physics A Level. As I completed my A levels only 2 years ago I'am very up-to-date on how to structure a very detailed knowledge of the content.
Since everyone learns differently, I would like to arrange the structure on the lesson based on the student and how they work best.
My teaching method is based on identifying the key subject areas that need improving and working on these first. I offer clear explanations of the concepts and do not rush students, as making sure they understand how the methods work is key. Once an understanding of the content is achieved, it is solely about past papers for me.
When teaching I like to have a two way relationship; encouraging questions from both myself and the student. Having just completed A Levels myself I am up to date with all the content and have a thorough approach to revision using past paper questions.
I'm looking to give lessons to GCSE and A level students. My method for teaching is taking whatever a student struggles with the most and going back to basics to ensure a core understanding of the topic, before slowly building it back up to the level required. As well as this I give tips on exam technique to ensure every student can get the most marks possible for how much they know.
Depending on the Students learning style. I normally will bring visuals to help with Science, and links to animations. The knowledge will be backed up by exam style questions, to give the student an insight into the application of the knowledge needed to get the best grades.
My name is Sasha. I am a 1st-year student at the University of Birmingham studying maths. My method is to try and help you understand a concept and learn through practice. I am calm, patient and a good communicator.
I achieved an A in my math GCSEs and a 4 in IB Math HL. I believe math is better understood when worked out practically, so I basically teach with examples, starting from the basics, from multiple sources till my student can answer a question themselves without a hassle.
My teaching methods include the likes of showing many different ways to arrive to the same answer and simplifying things to the basic to understand where numbers come from. As I believe to answer the questions carefully you have to understand how it works.
I am currently studying a masters degree in maths and have an A* in maths A level. Each lesson I will introduce a new idea and then give you some practice solving those types of questions. Every few weeks I'll give you a short test to summarise the last few weeks. What we study will mostly be decided by what you feel you need the most help with.
I am a reliable and enthusiastic mathematics student with a passion for teaching. I love engaging with my students and have done so for the entire time I have been tutoring (3 years). I encourage my students out of their comfort zone to ensure they get the most out of each session but am also supporting and encouraging when mistakes happen.

I am an easy going Engineering student who aims to give engaging Maths and Physics lessons to secondary school pupils. I have achieved the following A-Levels A in Further Maths, A in Maths and B in Physics I will try my utmost to ensure that the content is understood and can be applied by using various techniques which best suit the pupil's needs.
I am a 34 years old Ph.D. in maths. I give lessons mainly to University students that need help in any subject that involves maths. When a student can't solve an exercise, I try to understand the student's gaps and in order to fill the gaps I approach firstly really simple examples and then more complicated one so that the student is able to well understand and solve the exercise concerned.
Hi, I am Kieran and I can tutor up to an AS-Level standard in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Currently, I am studying Chemical Engineering at Loughborough University so have strong knowledge of these subjects. Having achieved 4 A's at AS (Maths,Physics,Chemistry and Business Studies) and 3 A's at A2 (Maths,Physics and Chemistry).
My teaching method is to start by ensuring that the pupil knows and understands the basics of each topic, and then we can begin to build on these with more and more layers of detail. I think it is important to continuously revise topics previously learnt to make sure of a full understanding of the topic as a whole and how it links to other aspects of the subject.
-Provide the students with a wide variety of study skills tailored to their individual needs. -Enhance understanding of the subject and help the student develop an interest towards the subject. -Able to provide assistance and feedback before the submission of coursework -Intensive revision before exams focused on past papers and exam techniques.
