My student hopefully will be able to state the topic or questions that they require help with. Depending on the class itself but usually my class would detail the fundamental key points of the topic first, such as theorems or definitions. I would ask the student if there is any particular part of the topic that they are not comfortable with or the entire topic.
I meet each student first and see what their learning style is and take it from there. Generally I will work from past papers and ensure each topic is understood fully before moving on and will give a short end of topic test.
My teaching method is focused on the student understanding the base principles and relating them to the world environment and industrial application. I can help with GCSE level life sciences and up to beech level maths and computing. Please get in touch for a free assessment and discounted rates.

I am a PhD Chemistry graduate of Queen's University (graduated in 2014) giving lessons at the GCSE/A level grade but also give tutorials to undergraduate students. Anyone can learn any subject, all it takes is is the patience to figure out what the student can relate to.
Personal approach - Believe that tutoring should not be the same as school-based learning. I do my best to get to know students and cater my approach to individuals. Tackling issues with learning - Most pupils want/need tutoring because they dislike Maths or they believe they couldn't ever be good at it. I always start with this Maths Anxiety.
I hold a degree in Bsc Hons Human Nutrition which was a science and maths based degree. I adapt my teaching method to the student depending on weaknesses and learning style.
I am a trained Maths Teacher and have worked in very varied schools. I have experience working one-to-one with primary, KS3 and KS4 students and teaching whole classes up to A-Level. I am a recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering with an experienced background in Mathematics. I would start a lesson by talking through the theory of whatever the topic is, providing worked examples so that a student can see first hand how it is used and how to complete it, then questions will be provided for the students to answer, and assistance will be provided if necessary.

According to me clearing topics or goal of subjects to student is very important . First tell students what we are going to learn and then explain concepts , basics of that subject. Explaining with examples is very important to clear doubts. I like questioning students to check his/her understanding of subjects. I believe in dedication and teaching them with kindness.

Very student focused with individual direct monitoring, modeling, step by step practice, and assessment. Specific exam preparation using past exams.
I will concentrate on the specifcation of the exam and anything the student is struggling with in particular, will help to find the best method of studying for the individual.
I want to get to know you and discover what help you need and where you need extra work I don't like rigid lessons ans prefer to tailor everything to my audience and give you more control.
My name is Jayne, I am 24 and studied Electrical Engineering with a year of Computer Science. Math and Electronics can be simple! When there is only one right answer, finding the solution is a method that can be tailored to each individual and that is my approach to tutoring.

I like to keep the lessons fun and interactive, especially for younger learners. They often find themselves doing hands on activities rather than computer based activities throughout the lesson. They participate in grouped activities such as writing a book to be printed.

I don't just teach them the formula for a certain question but I teach them the maths behind it and why it works so that they cna answer a range of questions and greatly improve their understanding. I would aim to tackle their problem areas first and then develop their understanding in all areas.
I am a recent Physics graduate and currently doing my TEFL course so that I can move to Japan next year as an English teacher. I can teach Physics and math up to a high level and mold the lessons to suit your needs. These can be in person or Online, the same goes for English lessons.

My teaching method is The demonstrator, based in showing students what they need to know. The demonstrator is a lot like the lecturer, but their lessons include multimedia presentations, activities, and demonstrations.
I value flexibility and effort above all things and so am very open to adapting my teaching method to suit a students needs or desires. That said, in my experience, the best way to learn math is to do lots and lots of math, so students should expect most lessons to contain a lot of worked examples and practice questions.
For maths and physics, Questions and examples are your best friend. I explain a method to my students and talk them through how I would approach a question, then ask them to do the same for me.
