I give lessons to students ranging from 11 years upwards with no upper limits. My teaching style is friendly but I do like to reinforce a topic until the student is confident in what they have learned and are fluent enough to attempt and master challenging problems analytically.
I am currently in U6th studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I completed my Maths A Level in 1 year and achieved an A*. I have some prior experience through one of my Prefect roles, in which I mentored a GCSE student in Mathematics last year. Explaining things at a different level, I carried him from a D to a very high B.
Throughout my time at university, I came to understand that I retained the subject matter more efficiently when my lecturers took in to consideration the needs of their students. They encouraged my classmates and me to ask questions. This is how we learn. I would like my students to do the same. Ask as many questions as you like.

Hi, I am looking to get into tutoring around Belfast in A-level/ GCSE physics or mathematical mechanics for A-level, or CGSE mathematics. I am also open to tutoring younger students. My approach is to really help students understand mathematics, using when needed, visual diagrams and showing proofs to fully explain each step of working.

My lessons will be student-oriented, which means I will develop unique teaching method for every student based on their own trait.
For maths and physics, Questions and examples are your best friend. I explain a method to my students and talk them through how I would approach a question, then ask them to do the same for me.
I value flexibility and effort above all things and so am very open to adapting my teaching method to suit a students needs or desires. That said, in my experience, the best way to learn math is to do lots and lots of math, so students should expect most lessons to contain a lot of worked examples and practice questions.
