About Leili
I am a masters student in publishing and also have a publishing and editing certificate from Columbia. I graduated with high honors from Harvard University's extension school, where I studied with the world's top professors in writing-intensive courses.
I have experience tutoring children ages 7-15 in after school programs, as well as plenty of leadership experience and mentoring skills gained through various projects, both personal and academic. After working with them, my students demonstrate a deeper understanding of the process of writing and greater confidence in their abilities.

Hi, I'm Leili and I want to help students be the best writers they can be.
I enjoy working with school-aged and secondary school children who need assistance meeting their course's expectations, but am happy to help those of any age or skill level become better writers. As a trained editor, I have a holistic approach to teaching: after speaking with the student and narrowing in on the most important areas to focus on, be it grammar, vocabulary, essay composition, or higher level literary critique, I will offer exercises specifically tailored to his/her needs. Should a student need help with a specific assignment, I will help them learn the skills necessary to produce a well-polished essay all on their own. I am familiar with both British and American writing conventions.
