About Giuseppe

Academic & Professional Background I offer a rare synthesis of elite academic achievement, classroom teaching experience, and real-world professional application. My credentials include: • First-Class Degree in Mathematics (University of Pisa) • Master’s with Distinction in Financial Mathematics (Bayes Business School, London) • PhD Scholarship Recipient (University of Padua, Mathematics Department) Before transitioning into the London finance industry, I served as a High School Professor of Mathematics and Physics in Italy. This experience gave me a deep understanding of how to break down complex curricula for students of all abilities. Today, I work in Financial Modelling, allowing me to bring a practical, "real-world" edge to every lesson.

About the lesson

My Philosophy: Holistic Learning & Well-being I believe that a student’s academic success is inseparable from their confidence. Maths and Physics can often feel intimidating; my goal is to create a comfortable, pressure-free environment where students feel free to express themselves and enjoy the process of discovery. When a student feels safe to make mistakes, they develop a deeper, more creative approach to problem-solving. I adapt my methodology to the individual needs of each student, focusing on: • Building Core Confidence: Overcoming "subject anxiety" through patience and empathy. • Academic Excellence: Utilising my professor-level experience to hit specific grade targets. • Real-World Context: Showing how classroom theory translates into the worlds of science and finance.

We were looking for someone who cpuld help our daughter with her math anxiety. Giuseppe's background as a high school teacher really shows; they have a way of making the most intimidating topics feel manageable. Her grade inproved, but her confidence grew even more.
