About Laura
I am a medical student at the Karolinska Institute and have an IB diploma from Hvitfeldtska. My higher level subjects were Biology, Chemistry and English Literature. Those are my strong suits, along with mathematics. From medical school I have had the opportunity to mostly further my understanding of biology, however my tutoring experience is mainly from being a math tutor.
As my high school studies were in English (partly in the US, partly in the IB program), I would best be able to explain high school level topics in English. Therefore I am most suited as a tutor for students in either the IB program or English speaking high school programs. However, as a tutor for middle school or elementary school, I could tutor in English and Swedish at the same level.

I focus mainly on the student understanding and himself/herself being able to explain the concepts. I try to mostly be there as a support for the gaps in the puzzle, so to speak. But if a student has a hard time for a subject, I will absolutely do more of a “lecture,” explaining it thoroughly but more understandably.
