About Harminder
I believe education is the one thing in life which can't be taken from us once it is attained. It is something that employers use as a means to rank students. Thus having a good academic background allows for students to have the best possible opportunity to acquire the career a pupil desires.
Beyond this I am well rounded in sports, social life and academia thus can guide students and mentor them whilst building a good student teacher relationship.

I am currently a Maths teacher in a secondary school. I have a years experience of teaching in a school and over 10 years as a tutor. I also have experience in other industries such as Banking, Consultancy and sales. I bring forth a wide range of knowledge and application of maths in everyday life and future careers. This allows me to be a mentor as well as a tutor.
I teach all abilities and able to provide tutoring that would suit you or your child. I am able to do this with providing modelled answers which are a step by step guide thus allowing the pupil to attain maximum marks. The work would be differentiated so that after gaining the foundational subject knowledge, the concept of specific topics can be applied to more challenging questions. Homeworks will be set.
Pupils will also be taught to understand a markscheme and gain the skill to mark their own work. Pre-requisite topics which are essential for every topic will be highlighted where needed.
I believe an hour is normally ideal, however it should never be more than 90 minutes as it can result in losing interest and focus. To keep students motivated schlorship is promoted and this is done through linking Maths and other subjects to the pupils own hobbies and real life.
My lessons are for all students in the range of 11 - 18.
I can tutor Maths, Chemistry and Physics till ALevels.
