About Samantha

My name is Samantha and I both a qualified maths teacher and maths tutor. I have a degree in architecture. However, my passion is to teach children. Through my life, I have done this in various forms. At secondary school, I tutored primary school students. During sixth form, I also tutored and mentored younger students (between the ages of 12 and 16) and volunteered as a teaching assistant in a prep school. Lastly, while at university, I was a student mentor and I volunteered as a children’s church teacher.

I have a track record of my GCSE and IGCSE receiving a grade 7 or above in Maths with majority of my pupils being awarded grades 8 or 9. These include pupils with SEND profiles who I have taught in classrooms and tutored online.

About the lesson

My lessons will start from the basics with as much explanation as needed to ensure full understanding. I will adapt my teaching style to the learning style of my students so they are able to retain information and solve mathematical problems based on the concepts they have learned.
