About Harold
I gave lessons intermittently over the last three years, both to primary school children and GCSE level students. As part of a tutoring program for low-income families I regularly taught maths to groups of 5-10 children. I also helped out GCSE maths and physics students who passed their exams in June and who will hopefully be reaching for A* grades on results day.

I am currently a second year undergraduate studying Physics at the university of Oxford. I have already tutored for GCSE level maths and physics and believe in a tutoring system where I will guide the tutee through their work in a logical and organised manner. I think it is crucial that the tutor does not do all the talking, a conversational approach where ideas are discussed is far more ideal. As a tutor I believe in making sure a student completely grasps a topic before moving to a next one. Finally, I am very motivated to make sure everyone has the opportunity to learn and understand the topics in Maths and Physics that I have had the luck to have been imparted with.
