About Alexandre
I’m Anax, a Philosophy MA graduate with over seven years of international teaching and tutoring experience. I’ve helped students of all ages—from teenagers to adults—develop strong reasoning skills, improve their academic performance, and gain confidence in complex subjects. With a calm, supportive approach and a passion for clear communication, I focus on creating lessons that are both intellectually engaging and easy to follow. I offer thought-provoking and accessible lessons in logic, ethics, and critical thinking, grounded in my academic training as a Philosophy MA graduate. Each session is adapted to the student’s level--whether you're a high schooler preparing for exams, a university student tackling dense texts, or an adult learner curious about philosophy.
Lessons typically begin with a short discussion to assess understanding, followed by guided exploration of key concepts, structured debate, and/or exercises to sharpen reasoning. What sets me apart is my ability to simplify complex theories without losing depth, and to foster confidence through supportive, Socratic-style conversation.
