About Guillermo
I am a fine artist, painter, cartoonist and illustrator with more than 20 years of experience as a university professor, with a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), USA, and a PhD from the University of Sydney. I have taught classes to adults, teenagers and children 7 years and older.

My methodology is based on the work done in the workshop space, starting from observation and dialogue to be able to question what we perceive. The work is carried out during class time, always having a constant communication between the teacher and the students and using bibliographic and image resources to complement the classes.

Conozco a Guillermo desde que fuí su estudiante en una clase de Dibujo en la Universidad de los Andes por allá por el año 2000, hace más de veinte años. Luego fui su monitor (alumno que asiste al profesor en cursos de multiples secciones. Mas adelante tuve la fortuna de ser su colega en la Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. Es un gran profesor, generoso y paciente. Ampliamente recomendado.

Buenos dias, mi hija ha sido alumna de Guillermo durante 6 meses y ha aprendido mas con el que durante 2 años en una academia de dibujo. Guillermo tiene un método de aprendizaje didáctica, profesional y lúdica que, en este caso, apasiono a mi hija y la ayudo no solamente a mejorar su técnica pero también su entendimiento del dibujo, de las sombras y las perspectivas. Lo recomiendo a 100%.
