About Harriet
I was born in Yorkshire, England. I have always been an active person who loves to be outdoors. I love to travel and in 2018, after a month in Australia and Singapore, I moved to New
Zealand where I lived for 11 months, working and exploring the country. I learned to scuba dive and snowboard. I am passionate about learning languages and love learning Spanish and Moroccan Darija. I love reading, exercising and spending time with my two little nieces. I worked in a private school for the past two years, before that I was working in various state and Catholic schools. I have experienced a wide range of educational settings in order to appreciate the varied pressure across all types of education.

The ethos my teaching is built on is one of values of empathy, respect, honesty and acceptance. I am passionate about education and ensuring children leave my lessons with self-belief and determination to succeed.
My typical lesson is 30-60 minutes online, of interactive and engaging content. I typically use presentations, activities, games, challenges and carefully thought-out exercises.
I have experience in teaching children 3-17 as well as adults. I am happy to help anyone of all levels.
I have been tutoring and teaching for over 10 years. I hold a BA in Philosophy, PGCE, QTS, Enhanced DBS, Diploma in Restorative Practice, therapeutic thinking qualification.
