About Dr Karam
I am Dr. Karam, a qualified Medical Doctor with over three years of hands-on clinical experience in fast-paced hospital environments, including General Medicine, the ER, and the ICU.
My journey in medicine has taught me that mastering science is never about blindly memorizing textbooks; it is about truly understanding how life works. I have always had a deep passion for teaching and storytelling, which allows me to take complex biological, anatomical, and medical concepts and translate them into simple, fascinating, and easy-to-understand lessons.
Outside of my professional medical career, I am a strong advocate for physical fitness and weightlifting. This lifestyle has not only instilled in me a deep appreciation for discipline and consistency, but it also gives me practical insights into human biomechanics and physiology—topics I love sharing with my students.

About Me & My Teaching Approach
Hello! I am Dr. Karam, a qualified Medical Doctor with over 3 years of hands-on clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, ICU, and General Practice. Throughout my medical career, I have realized that the best way to master complex science is not through rote memorization, but by understanding how it applies to the real world.
My goal as a tutor is to take the overwhelming concepts of Biology, Anatomy, and Physiology and make them fascinating, logical, and easy to digest.
My Teaching Method & Techniques:
I use the "Clinical Correlation" method. Textbooks can be dry, so I bring the subjects to life. If we are learning about the cardiovascular system, I won't just ask you to memorize the chambers of the heart—I will explain it through the lens of a real-life ER scenario, like how a doctor diagnoses high blood pressure or a heart block. By connecting theory to real-world medical practice, my students remember the material effortlessly because it finally makes sense.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
Every student is unique, but a standard 60-minute session with me looks like this:
Active Recall (10 mins): A quick, low-pressure review of the previous lesson to reinforce memory.
The Core Concept (25 mins): Breaking down the new topic using visual diagrams, analogies, and simplified flowcharts.
The Clinical Application (10 mins): The "Why it matters" segment—connecting the biology to a real medical case.
Exam Strategy & Q&A (15 mins): Tackling past paper questions, practicing exam techniques, and clearing up any final doubts.
