About Philippa
Put simply, I love teaching! Over the course of my teaching career so far, I have been lucky enough to teach a range of students, and find 1:1 or small group tutoring immensely rewarding. I have taught students from as young as 3, up to 11 years old.
I tailor my sessions around the learning needs of my student, and work hard to build positive relationships with my students, in order that they feel comfortable working with me, and feel supported to reach their full potential.

My teaching style is fun, active and engaging. I find students learn best when they are engaged in a range of activities during a session, including games and more formalised learning activities. The length of my lessons is very much led by the needs of the client, and is based primarily upon what is best for the students. Sometimes, students work best with a 30 minute session, however some are able to maintain concentration and benefit from a longer session.
