I love teaching, watching students grow in their understanding and confidence, building relationships and getting to know students better, all of which comes so much more naturally in the focused tutoring setting.

I love tutoring one on one, building that rapport and watching students grasp new concepts, boost their understanding and their confidence, and go from strength to strength. I am comfortable teaching students targeting any level of attainment, whether they want to secure their foundational mathematical skill sets and understanding or push themselves for 9s and A*s and reach whatever their personal academic goals are.
My sessions would often be student led in terms of content, and focus on honing in on misconceptions, fully understanding the concepts and methods behind the mathematics and then delving into effective practice and variation to consolidate learning and improve fluency and confidence.
I usually look only to take on two or three students a week (outside of my regular teaching work), meaning I can give more of my focus to each student.
