About Madeline
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with 5+ years of nutrition counseling and education experience -- I have provided medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and nutrition counseling for a variety of health conditions, but I currently specialize in diabetes/endocrine disorders.
While I cannot provide individualized, formal MNT within the confines of this platform, my experience rendering this service in various medical settings informs my ability to teach cooking and meal planning skills that will support you in your health goals/disease management.

These virtual cooking lessons are for individuals who have perhaps already had medical nutrition therapy*** and would like to further their understanding of how to prepare nutritious, palatable meals that align with dietary restrictions and/or recommendations for disease prevention or management. I'll curate recipes for any dietary concerns/preferences you may have, including gluten-free, low-carb, low-FODMAP, low-sodium, low-cholesterol, etc.
***Medical nutrition therapy provides you with individualized nutrition interventions after a sufficient review of your pertinent medical history by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

Details
The first 30-minute meeting is free so that I may get an understanding of: 1) what it is that you would like to learn, 2) what kitchen appliances and cookware you currently have, 3) your experience/comfort level with home-cooking, and 4) whether or not we will be a good fit for one another :-) I will then design a single lesson or multi-lesson program for you that has been adapted to your needs, experience level, and learning preference.
