About Monika
I am a research scientist for a pharmaceutical company. I work with proteins (protein mutation, purification, and analysis) which as a biology student, you will soon discover how vital proteins are for life. Some of the proteins I have worked with are on track to becoming vaccines, which will be used to fight against certain viruses. I am also trilingual and speak Spanish and Macedonian in addition to English. I graduated with a Bachelors in Biology as well as a minor in chemistry and Spanish. I have an incredible passion for biology and am excited to share my knowledge as well as any tips and tricks with anyone who may need some help in the area. Biology is easy because biology is all around us. Once we understand the fundamentals, any advanced biology course will be a breeze. I am here to help you learn and understand the fundamentals.

My teaching method is a combination of lectures, diagrams and reading/writing. Since there are different types of learners out there (myself being a combination learner), I figured I would create lessons that give every type of learner the chance to understand a particular topic. The great thing about biology is that it can be taught in these different ways, and I plan on teaching from an all-encompassing point of view.
