About Emily
I have done my undergraduate degree in biology and I am currently finishing my second year of medical school. I understand the clinical applications of concepts learned in medical science courses so that I can teach it in a way that will make more sense overall.

Initially I like to discuss study strategies to find what best works for each individual. Before each meeting I'll review the material provided to you in your class so I can go over the important points with you, and find additional resources that may help, like videos or practice questions. I also offer to make notes for you to highlight key points that are commonly tested and to expand on concepts to help your understanding. If you have any classmates that are interested as well, I also offer group sessions at a lower cost. Group sessions allow you to learn from other's questions and since it will feel like more of a discussion it will help retain the information. For either type of session I will explain everything by relating it to the bigger picture of a courses main topic to help students understand everything all together, rather than it feeling like memorization.

Perfect! Emily is an amazing tutor. Ever since she started tutoring me in Anatomy and Physiology my marks have become significantly better. She takes the time to make extra notes to give more of an understanding of the topic you are learning. I would definitely recommend her to someone in need of tutoring!
