About Mathew
I’m a 21 year old who has been tutoring since I was 16, I get the pressure of exams and how frustrating it can be to be taught by tutors who rely on homework and just don’t get the differences in how young people learn. Our attention spans are shorter now, we work and focus through totally different means - I was there just 4-5 years ago. I started my own tutoring company in 2020 with the mission of providing a tuition service being done by students, for students, and now I’m looking to branch out and help more students where I can.

My lessons are 50 minutes, with a 5 minute plenary revision at the end to keep students focused. I structure my lessons around the student’s needs once the gaps have been identified, usually through past paper work and tackling the specification. I specialise in 11+ and GCSE, but can take English Lit at A-Level, as well as Psychology and Religious Studies, and Philosophy.
