About Sejal
HI! I'm a Stanford graduate with a double focus in Political Science & Economic Development and Film & Media Studies. I've worked formally as a tutor for high school and university students in essay writing, creative writing, English language, and university applications.

Good writing is a skill anyone can learn! My lessons are conversational and tailored to each student: I start by understanding your goals and what's not working, then build every session around that.
For essay and creative writing, we focus on thinking and structure before grammar and polish. For English language, I mix clear explanation with real practice. For standardised test prep, I identify your weak spots early and work on the patterns and timing that move the needle. For university applications, I help you find the story only you can tell (and tell it well.)
I hold an undergraduate degree from Stanford and have formal teaching experience, working with high school students (14–18) and university students.
