I am a year 13 student with a lot of experience in teaching my younger peers. My specific method of tutoring is to identify areas of weakness of a student and try to develop on these first. Once the foundations are based we usually focus on strengthening them and developing the knowledge so that we can maximise our potential in a particular subject.
I am currently studying A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and History and I am predicted all A*s in all four subjects. On my GCSEs I achieved grade 8 in maths (2 marks off 9) and currently I am mentoring Year 11s in my school and help them prepare for their GCSEs. I have myself struggled with maths in Year 10 and I thought it was impossible to catch up with all of the material I had to learn for my GCSEs, however I worked hard and found simple ways to learn maths and now I am enjoying it very much and look forward to study it at Oxford University.
