Methodology
What I find crucially important is that the tutor should never complete the homework or coursework instead of the student, but rather orientate him/her in the right direction and assist his/her development. I will pay attention to the pupil's own needs and learning rhythm.
Experience
I have taught 2 students in grade 5 whom have achieved test results of 30-40% higher than before. Besides having experience in maths teaching, I also taught French as a volunteer. My tutee had great difficulties and I've managed to orientate her in the right direction. My skills and knowledge in maths is proved by 97% result in the Hungarian Matura exam on an advanced level.
