About Rosie
I am an experienced tutor working with children and young people from EYFS through to GCSE level. I specialise in supporting learners who need extra help with confidence, engagement, or gaps in their learning, and I adapt my approach to suit each individual.
I have worked extensively with students with SEN/SEMH needs, including anxiety and school avoidance, as well as those preparing for GCSE exams and Functional Skills qualifications. I am particularly focused on building confidence alongside academic progress.
I am patient, approachable and consistent in my teaching style, and I aim to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel safe to learn, ask questions and make progress at their own pace.

I offer calm, supportive and tailored tutoring for children and young people from EYFS through to GCSE. I specialise in supporting learners who may be struggling with confidence, anxiety, or gaps in their learning, and I adapt lessons to suit each individual.
I teach GCSE English and Maths, Functional Skills (Levels 1 & 2), and early literacy and numeracy. My approach is structured but flexible, breaking learning into small, manageable steps to help students feel successful and engaged.
I also support exam preparation, motivation and study skills, particularly for students who need help re-engaging with education or rebuilding confidence.
My lessons are patient, encouraging and interactive, creating a safe space where students feel comfortable to ask questions and learn at their own pace. My focus is always on progress, confidence and long-term independence in learning.
