I am a third year in medical school in my rotations! I went through anatomy in class and in the lab with a cadaver and excelled in anatomy and have done over 1000+ questions on physiology and anatomy when preparing for my boards national exam as well have 2+ years tutoring college students in organic chemistry, biology , math, and chemistry 1 and 2. I love to tutor and bring confidence to students in various subjects. I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences in 2016 and matriculated into medical school where I continued my studies. During my time at Auburn University, I worked a paid job in Academic Services as a supplemental instructor where I sat in individual college classes and collaborated with the teacher to design and create study materials specific to each class such as worksheets, power points, and practice tests for students taking the class. Students would take my practice tests that I created before each test to assess their knowledge and had many students come up to me telling me that my tutoring sessions improve their grades. I would tutor individuals one on one as well in groups doing board work, worksheets, or group activities. I worked with teachers in classes such Algebra, Chemistry 1, Organic Chemistry 1, and Biology to create material for tutoring students in his/her class.
In addition to that, I was a teaching assistant for biology lab where I had to assist the teacher in helping each student perform each lab correctly as well with any lab activities. I was able to do this on top of many other extracurricular activities and classes. Due to these achievements, I got accepted into medical school and currently, I am a 3rd year medical student doing rotations in Birmingham and have just finished my first 2 years of education in all the systems of the body covering every possible subject such as physiology, pathology, pharmacology, anatomy, etc.
