About Joash
I am a third-year Electronic Engineering student at University of Southampton. I achieved 6A*s and 3As in my GCSE back in 2017, and got 3A*s (Further Maths - 96%, Maths - 99%, Physics - 91%) and 1A (Chemistry) in A Levels. My current university degree mainly revolves around electronic and computer architecture designs - these require good mathematical foundation besides programming skills! I aim to help my students achieve their academic goals by working through example questions and past paper questions with them in preparation for their exams. I usually aim to tailor my lessons to the needs of each student. I will gauge areas where they lack understanding, and provide explanations and example questions to help them grasp the relevant key concepts. If they have practice questions from school (or any other sources) that they are having difficulties with, I will also take the time to guide them through as these allow me to better understand their level of understanding, and learn what works/doesn't work for them. My lessons typically last an hour per session but I am quite flexible depending on the preference of my student - as well as my availability on the particular day. I provide tuition for students up to GCSE level.

Joash has given me maths lessons in the past. His lessons are never boring, as he genuinely cares to make sure I understand the topic rather than just teaching me the answer to the questions.
