**Specific opportunity**-- A group class on Nagarjuna's foundational text, the Mūlamadhyamakakārikā (Foundational Wisdom of the Middle Way).
The "Mūlamadhyamakakārikā," often simply referred to as the "MMK," is a foundational text in Buddhist philosophy, composed by the philosopher Nagarjuna. This work is central to the Madhyamaka school of Mahāyāna Buddhism and is renowned for its profound exploration of the concept of śūnyatā, or emptiness. The text critically examines various philosophical positions and phenomena to demonstrate their emptiness of intrinsic, independent existence. It's composed in a series of verses that are known for their philosophical depth and complexity. We will do 8 sessions, over 4 weeks, with class length of 1.5 hours, starting early January. Rate will be $60 USD per session, or $480USD for the whole class.
