About Shehana
Hi, I’m Shehana—a passionate and supportive English tutor who understands the student journey because I’ve walked it myself. With years of experience teaching across the UK and US, I bring energy, empathy, and academic expertise to every lesson. I graduated from a top liberal arts college in the United States as a Fulbright Scholar, where I majored in Political Science and Music Production. My academic journey has given me a deep appreciation for the power of clear communication and strong writing—skills I love helping my students develop. I’ve worked with learners of all ages, from primary school through to university level, supporting everything from foundational literacy to advanced essay writing and literary analysis. I’m passionate about creating a calm, encouraging learning space where students feel confident to ask questions, challenge themselves, and grow.
