About Chana
Graduating from Duke University with a BS in Biomedical Sciences prepared me for a long career. I admit that biology remains a puzzle even after 13 years in the classroom. My 13 years of teaching high school and AP students allow me to cover DNA and RNA structure plus the circulatory system.
I simplify the scientific method and immunology basics for better understanding. Data analysis and graphs are often tricky, but we will break them down together. Molecular biology, evolution, and natural selection are also part of my core curriculum. My style keeps things organized and clear for all learners.

Class begins with a focused set of tasks. Concepts become manageable quickly.
We prioritize weekly practice questions with feedback to track your progress effectively. Since I spent 13 years teaching AP Bio, I know exactly where students struggle.
I apply a score of 7.0 as a benchmark for accuracy and logical reasoning. This keeps our time together efficient while we solidify your command of the material. Your questions are always welcome during our scheduled time.
