About Tim
I teach in a novel and interesting way focussing on the fundamental aspects of a subject that a student needs to be good at to do well at that subject. I plan lessons based on an individual’s needs, and make sure I am knowledgeable about the relevant syllabus before a tutorial. I am patient and good at explaining concepts, as well as at finding different ways to explain them. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm on a gap year, applying to study Philosophy at university. I have an A* grade in Maths GCSE, an A^ grade in Further Maths GCSE, and an A grade in Maths A-level.
I was awarded an exhibition to Westminster School and greatly enjoyed my time there. I try to bring the teaching ethos I experienced at school to the way I tutor, encouraging a questioning and free thinking approach and an interest in the subject itself.
