About Carleen
Seventeen years of teaching biology to high school and AP students have defined my academic focus. I earned a BS Biochemistry degree to build a strong foundation for this work. Most of my students aim for medicine or biological sciences at college.
My expertise covers cell biology, mitosis and meiosis, enzymes and metabolism, physiology, and the scientific method. I also specialize in ecology, ecosystems, DNA and RNA structure, exam technique, molecular biology, and evolution and natural selection. I truly enjoy seeing students grasp these complex mechanisms.
