About Gaspar

I am a 6th Form student studying Maths and Further Maths A-level and hoping to studying Mathematics at university, after which I hope to teach Maths at secondary/college level. I have been inspired by previous teachers and classmates to pursue my passion for the subject and help others find something in it that they can enjoy too.

About the lesson

Lessons are typically 1 hour long, and usually involve 20-30 minutes teaching, 20-30 minutes working through problems related to the respective course syllabus and 10 minutes on one or two problems which may go beyond the requirements of the specification (but help deepen the understanding of a topic).
Qualifications include 9’s in GCSE Maths and Further Maths, Gold certificate in UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge, Merit in Andrew Jobbings Senior Kangaroo and 1st place in several inter-school further maths competitions, as well as 1 year teaching experience. Lessons are for anyone from year 6 to year 12.
