About Maria

I’m a qualified massage therapist with over 10 years of hands-on experience, specialising in deep tissue, Thai massage, chair massage, and advanced stretching techniques. I hold a BSc in Sport Science and an MSc in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics, and I’m currently studying Physiotherapy at university in the UK. I’ve worked with a wide range of clients from athletes to office workers and older adults with chronic pain and I love sharing the practical skills and body mechanics that make massage both effective and sustainable for the therapist.

About the lesson

In my one-to-one lessons, I like to keep things very practical and adapted to your level. I will explain things clearly and make sure you understand not just the technique, but also how to use your body in a safe and efficient way. I want you to feel confident with your hands and relaxed when working with clients. We will focus on deep tissue, stretching, and body mechanics, but also I’m happy to answer questions and adjust depending on what you want to learn. I like to create a calm and friendly space where you feel comfortable to ask, try, and make mistakes because that’s how we learn. My goal is to help you build strong massage skills that really work in real life, not just on paper.

I’ve had the pleasure of learning from Maria and I can confidently say she is one of the most knowledgeable, passionate, and inspiring massage tutors out there. Her deep understanding of anatomy, technique and knowledge e different disciplines makes her ideal

What really sets Maria apart is her dedication and hard work, not just for massage therapy itself, but for helping students grow in confidence and skill. If you choose her I am confident that she will bring the best in you.

If you’re looking for a tutor who is professional, kind, and truly invested in your learning, I would definitely recommend her.

I have known Maria for many years .
I have been so impressed with her professionalism with regard to her own development as a massage therapist .
Her own practice is brilliant and her attention to detail and listening skills when I went with a shoulder injury was just what I needed .
