About Anu
Hello, I am Anu Sharon, an M.Sc. Botany graduate and Science Educator with experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and NEET preparation. My teaching approach focuses on concept clarity, interactive discussions, practical examples, and real-life applications rather than rote memorization.

I am an M.Sc. Botany graduate with experience teaching Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Science across CBSE, ICSE, and State Board curricula. My teaching methodology focuses on concept-based learning, interactive classroom discussions, practical demonstrations, activity-based learning, and real-life applications to make scientific concepts easy to understand and retain.
For example, while teaching the Modern Periodic Table, I begin by connecting the topic to everyday life and explaining why elements need to be classified. I encourage student participation through questioning, group discussions, and problem-solving activities. I use diagrams, visual aids, and examples to explain concepts such as groups, periods, atomic number, and periodic trends. I regularly assess understanding through oral questioning, worksheets, MCQs, and application-based questions.
In addition to teaching, I have experience in student mentoring, classroom management, lesson planning, curriculum delivery, academic assessment, and examination preparation. My subject expertise includes Botany, Environmental Science, Plant Physiology, Plant Anatomy, Plant Taxonomy, Microbiology, Plant Pathology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Paleobotany, and Palynology.
I also possess hands-on laboratory experience in Plant Tissue Culture, Laminar Air Flow Chamber handling, Inoculation Techniques, Microscopy, Spectrophotometry, Phytochemical Extraction, Environmental Analysis, and Scientific Research Documentation. My goal as an educator is to create an engaging learning environment that promotes critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and academic excellence.
