About Jayjay
Cooking has always been both my passion and my creative outlet. I specialize in Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi, but I also enjoy teaching the basics of kitchen safety, knife skills, and simple home cooking. My goal as a tutor is to make cooking accessible and enjoyable for everyone—whether you are a beginner, a student learning independence, or someone looking to refine your skills. I bring patience, clear explanations, and hands-on practice to every lesson. I believe that learning to cook is not just about recipes, but about understanding ingredients, techniques, and the joy of creating meals you can be proud of. Students appreciate that I adapt to their pace and make sure they leave each session with confidence in what they’ve learned.
