My teaching method is simple yet precise, introducing each topic from the basics and gradually building up an inderstanding more complex ideas. I have a bank of questions and solved solutions to aid with question practice and methodology which are all included in my session price.
My teaching method is focusing directly on the main points of the lesson, which helps to connect the students quickly with the course, understanding the difficult points, and practicing on the important sections of the courses. Students achieve the best results with a Face-to face meeting .
I am an a level student and i give lessons to students that are both my age and younger. i have helped students understand maths from the basics and most have been able to apply those skills to much more complex questions. so far i have only tutored voluntarily but have had a deep interest in taking it into a larger environment and try to help more students with maths and further maths.
As a student, I know what it takes to get those A*s and 9s. My teaching method is made by a student for students. Often teachers do not know the best teaching methods however over my time in eduction I have been able to perfect my teaching and revision techniques which I would love to share with you. Discipline, Motivation, Guidance and direction.
I base my classes on the specification of maths from the board. I approach each topic by first breaking it down, working from the basics, working up to the complex parts and using past paper questions in doing so to allow for exam preparation.
I have an active life-long commitment to teaching for over 16 years as a Maths and Physics teacher and tutor working for schools. Initially, I established my teaching experience in Iran as Maths/Physics teacher; and then, I continued the same positions since I moved to London, in 2010. I am currently working as a teacher for a School in London teaching Maths/Physics GCSE and A-Level.
My approach is unconventional yet simple. Unlike standard methodologies for teaching maths, I promote somehow old fashion teaching methodologies. I give the student the tools and teach them how to use them correctly and effectively, rather than spoon-feed them by solving the biggest number of problems and exam questions.
My teaching method is to introduce a topic with the more simple concepts and gradually get into teaching the more complex subject. Importantly ensuring to try questions as we go along.
As someone who has been through the struggles of GCSE and A levels, I like to centre my lessons around the needs of my students and will adapt my style to what best suits the student. If I'm going to be your tutor, I would appreciate it if you told me your exam board and prior to each lesson, the topics you are struggling with.
I have a positive attitude and a passion to assist and motivate struggling learners and is key to building confidence and achieving academic goals. I find, from my own experience, that people learn things differently and at different paces; when students struggle with a subject, it’s usually because their learning style conflicts with the style or pace with which it is being taught.
My teaching method is very simple. This enables adaptability for every student I teach as each person is different and will respond differently to different teaching styles.
I will give lessons in maths and further maths up to As level. I will help you achieve the grade you are aiming for by assessing your abilities and helping on topics you find difficult. I will go through them in our lesson and assign homework to make sure you fully understand the topic. I will also bring my own resources on any topic you need help with.
I am a friendly and approachable teacher, and am also flexible in how I approach lessons. I usually approach lessons by explaining concepts in a clear, easy to understand way, with the aid of plenty of diagrams. I encourage questions at every step of the way, and encourage deepening of knowledge of that subject.
Hi! I'm a Second Year student studying Natural Sciences at Christ's College, Cambridge. This year I began to specialise in Physics and Maths, but I also have plenty of experience in Chemistry.
As I’ve only just completed my GCSEs and am getting my results in August I currently have no official qualifications but have been been predicted level 9s for both maths and further maths at gcse level, I will teach anyone up to GCSE level.
Teaching method: I begin by reading the whole syllabus to then produce a timetable of when topics should be covered by. I then gauge what level the student is at and build towards their target grade. Each lesson will consist of aims that should be met by the end of the session with a summary of what was learnt when finishing the session.
My first goal is to make sure students have a clear understanding of the basics and to fill in any gaps that have left them struggling to understand the more advanced topics .
I can offer tutoring up to GCSE level in Maths (I have Maths and Further Maths A levels) I can tutor up to GCSE Spanish, and beginner level French. I approach each topic individually, but build each lesson on from the previous subject. Before moving on to a new subject I will ensure all material is understood.
I am a Medical Student at studying at Barts and the London, Queen Mary University of London. Having been through the GCSE and Alevel exams at Watford Grammar only a few years ago, I am sympathetic, experienced and understanding of the knowledge required for you to achieve the top grades. I tailor each tuition to suit the individual to ensure that you will feel confident with the content.
I teach Mathematics in a creative way. I make students to think like Mathematicians. My teaching methodology is totally conceptual and I also illustrate real life applications of the topics to make it more interesting. I can even make undergraduate Mathematics as simple as primary level.
My philosophy is that tutoring is more than just teaching, it is also about mentoring and about building a trust with the student to appreciate their individual needs and aspirations. My approach is not just to give the answers but to enable the student to find the solution using their own latent talent.
I always endeavour to produce a comfortable yet efficient teaching environment in which the student is motivated to learn and has access to the right tools and knowledge to do so. I am very aware and understanding of the fact that every student learns differently and at different paces and so I make it a necessity to tailor each session to the individual to ensure maximum learning and happiness.
I teach concepts from first principles, using various real-world examples to bring the subject to life and add flavour. I use a combination of visual, aural and kinesthetic approaches, suited to the individual student's preferred learning style.
My teaching method is first seeing where is the lack of information by giving the student a test and making them fully understand the topics they struggle with. Then give them some exercises to do, to see the improvement and work on those until I can see that the student made progress.
I enjoy sharing my passion in mathematics. I marvel its beauty in modelling what can be seen and what cannot be seen, thus I feel that it is important to make my lessons as relatable and interesting as possible. I always try to be adaptable & patient, tailoring the lessons to suit different students' needs (either exam prep or general support, etc) are met.
I have previously tutored GCSE pupils however though I have not tutored A-Level students I can safely say I have the correct level of experience to do so considering how recently I finished my exams. I take organisation seriously, I do believe past papers are the key to achieving your Maths grade.
I am an LSE graduate with a First Class Honours degree in Economics. I achieved 4 A*s at A-Level (Maths/Further Maths/Economics/Chemistry) and 10A*s at GCSE. I believe exam technique and course content are key to exam success and so should be taught alongside each other.
I haven’t had any experience tutoring yet, but I plan to be well-organised in order for my tutees to achieve the best possible result. I will prepare all my lessons in advance and will provide necessary material and clear explanations in order to aid my tutees understanding of the content.
I follow a problems based learning system in my lessons. I will explain new topics the student is not yet familiar with. If the student is familiar with a topic, I will provide exercises and discuss each one in detail. These exercises will become progressively more challenging and allow the student to develop their abilities further by giving 100% effort and receiving excellent guidance.
I put more emphasis on the understanding of base content, rather than specific higher level problems - its important foundations are fully developed, allowing the student to build on this knowledge, making them more equipped to answer non-trivial questions confidently.
