Initially, i will start the first session as a 'Taster Session' where i get to know more about the student's strengths and weaknesses by giving them a sample paper for me to asses their ability so that i am aware of the areas in which they need work on and which areas they can develop further in.
I like to make my subjects as enjoyable as possible as I understand how tedious it can be, especially during secondary school and college. I aim to make my students understand and question rather than just memorise as i think this is the key to retaining and recalling information and ultimately, succeeding academically.
My teaching method is based on the educational curriculum and I follow the contents in order. I try to mirror the topics that the kids cover in school so that there is no confusion for them. In some instances, depending on the children's learning abilities, I teach them topics ahead of the school's learning programme which allows my students to have a head start before everyone else.
Hello there, my name is Piyush Samgi and I am a year 12 student in Alperton Community School, studying Maths, Economics and Physics. I am here to help you improve your maths and have fun while doing so, instead of just learning a subject you would get bored with.
Although I have only been tutoring for the past year, I feel I poses the relevant skills to help students achieve effective results in maths. Having sat the new maths GCSE last year where I effectively achieved a grade 8 allows me to pass on exam skills and tips I discovered while studying and practising for my exam.

As a student, I know what it takes to get those A*s and 9s. My teaching method is made by a student for students. Often teachers do not know the best teaching methods however over my time in eduction I have been able to perfect my teaching and revision techniques which I would love to share with you. Discipline, Motivation, Guidance and direction.
Affordable tuition without compromising on quality Tutoring approach: I believe that first step to success is to create interest in the subject and there by building confidence. I try to structure my tutorials to suit individual needs – allowing the space to build true understanding for themselves. Then prepare them to do the best in exams by giving more practice.
I know that being in a huge class some points cannot get through to everyone and teachers like to quickly explain and go onto the next topic. I do not want to be like that, I want to go through everything at your own pace so that you understand all the methods. We will not only go through easy questions but go through more challenging questions to test how much you understand.
Although I am originally from the US, I have extensive maths tutoring experience. Whether you need help preparing for an exam or developing a deeper understanding of a concept, I'm your guy. My best areas are algebra, statistics, and calculus.
I am a talented academician who is capable of teaching up to GCSE level. I wish to embrace an intelligent style of teaching that includes: introduction, key concepts, topic material (with breaks where necessary) and summary followed by an interactive session.
I give personalised lessons in a friendly manner, and encourage my pupils to intuitively understand the concepts of maths and physics rather than promote rote memorisation.
I am a graduate from the University of Manchester with a 2.1 degree in Economics and Business Studies. I am currently studying to become a qualified Mathematics teacher. I have tutored Maths and Economics since I was at University (2011-2014).
My aim is to get students excited about maths by explaining the content in a comprehensible way. This sounds simple, but from my point of view this is the most critical issue in maths teaching. I like to describe mathematical theorems and concepts intuitively first before I move towards the rigorous conditions to give a full picture.
Hi, my name is Haider Moosa. I am 18 years old who is currently studying maths at KCL having obtained a minimum of an A in my GCSES, AS and A2, in both maths and further maths. The fact that I am 18 is actually a bonus rather than a negative. It means I understand what secondary school students are going through better than adult tutors.
I teach year 7,8 and GCSE students who comes from disadvantaged backgrounds, displaying negative behaviour, or disability including disability such as dyslexia. I meet students on a weekly basis to help in study skills and test preparation through weekly exam styled preparation questions and help identify children's weakness. I am a patient and enthusiastic UCL Economics Graduate with experience in helping graduates achieve higher results in their degree. My teaching methods aim to improve the efficiency of learning methods for students and immediately apply theories to practical problems.
I give lessons based on the structure of the exam boards the students are studying with, so that their learning with me is in line with what they are being taught at school/college. I am a believer in active learning and use whiteboards and a lot of interaction in my lessons.
My approach to teaching is smooth and with precision, I help students realise their true potential in mathematics and help them actually enjoy and develop a passion for the art of mathematics rather than the students thinking mathematics it is just another subject that they study in school. I make sure my students progress and improve so they are the best in their class.

I currently work as a statistician in the Civil Service. I provide tutoring to students of all levels including GCSE (new syllabus), A levels, and undergraduate/postgraduate courses. I provide a very flexible structure depending on the students requirements.
An initial class with me will go over the curriculum of the qualification you are studying for, and together we will identify your strengths and weaknesses (e.g. you can pick up algebra easily, but perhaps struggle a bit with calculus). We will also do a practice exam to see which areas need more work on. This will allow me to draw out a lesson plan for you for the coming weeks.
Hello, I am a university graduate in Chemistry. I offer lessons from GCSE to A level for mathematics. Also GCSE for all sciences and A level chemistry. My approach to teaching is to go through endorsed books recommended for the exam board. Once I have gone through the theory for a module or a unit paper. I will then move on to practice all the exam papers for the content covered.
I teach with empathy as I have experienced the stress of being a student myself. I am a friendly person and I work towards creating a helathy bond between my tutees so they are comfortable and can approach me or ask me for help whenever help is needed. I also take pride in helping students do well, so I tend to push tutees beyond what they think they are capable of.
