About Yaser
I wrote my United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE Step 2 CK) in November 2023 and received my medical degree (M.D.) a month later, in December 2023. That said, my knowledge of concepts is very current and fresh in my mind.
I currently work as a medical assistant in Orthopedic Surgery while preparing for my residency application. In addition, I have also published articles that are indexed in PubMed.
I personally feel it's much easier to retain and recall concepts if you have fun studying and if you can actually bond with the person teaching you. Understanding new and complex concepts in this way actually becomes entertaining and something the student looks forward to. I welcome any and all questions and I can work with students of different skill levels at various ages. I am naturally a patient person and I actually enjoy teaching.

I use simple terminology, mnemonics, flash cards and other study techniques I have picked up along the way to help learn and retain new information. As a medical graduate, I have spent many years studying and learning new concepts using various techniques that need to be recalled at a later time.
A typical lesson plan for physiology as an example would be to go over the a pathway first by reading the text, writing it out from memory in your own words, then using flash cards to solidify the information and lastly, I will review the information again at the next session to ensure the student has retained the information.
What sets me apart is that I have a very friendly demeanor, I am able to connect with people easily and I am able to explain difficult concepts in simple terms.
A career in medicine starts with commitment early in education. My lessons can be catered to a student of any age that has a passion for medicine and biological sciences.

Yaser is one of the most patient people I know, and teaching seems to come naturally to him. He has an impressive medical background but never makes you feel intimidated when you don't understand something. He takes the time to explain things in different ways until they make sense. I think he would be an excellent tutor for students at any level.
Having known Yaser personally, I've seen how much he enjoys helping others learn. He is very knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to answer questions.
