About Lindsay
From Minnesota, I graduated from Wellesley College as a premed student and double majored in Chemistry and Latin American Studies, concentrating in Political Science.
Since then, I graduated from medical school as a MD graduate in 2018. After graduating, I worked at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Psychiatry completing clinical research. In addition, I tutored for 1 year students who were preparing for the US Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) Step 1-3.
Currently, I am completing a gap year of clinical research at University of Alabama Birmingham as a visiting scholar. The research project is focused on mental health and addiction medicine disorders.
I am available to tutor in up to graduate level biology and its subtypes, MCAT preparation as well as USMLE Step 1-3, including Clinical Case Studies (CCS) test preparation.
In addition, I speak fluid Spanish and have taken course work in medical terminology in Spanish.

I teach in a student-centered learning process where my student is an active participant in the lesson. Most importantly, I use whichever way my student learns best (whether by listening, writing, reading and visualized-based learning or doing something hands on!). If my student is unsure of which type of learning method is best, I can help them discover how they learn best.
Each of my students I encourage to bring a list of questions as well as objectives of what they would like to achieve overall and then with each lesson. If this is difficult for my student, then I will help to make a list of objectives for us to complete together!
I am available via Zoom! virtually and also in-person in a third-party setting.
