About Jose
Hi, I'm Jose, a professional artist, illustrator, designer, and muralist based in Miami with over 20 years of experience in both the fine art and commercial worlds. Throughout my career I've had the opportunity to work with clients including Nike, Adidas, Marvel, Disney, PlayStation, Linkin Park, and Wu-Tang Clan, while also exhibiting in galleries and creating large-scale public murals.
I believe that anyone can improve with the right guidance and consistent practice. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, approachable, and inspiring while helping students build strong fundamentals and develop their own unique style. Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or preparing for a professional career in art, I'm passionate about sharing the techniques, workflows, and creative mindset that have helped me build a successful career.

I've spent over 20 years working as a professional artist, illustrator, designer, and muralist for clients including Nike, Adidas, Marvel, Disney, PlayStation, Linkin Park, and Wu-Tang Clan. My lessons focus on real-world skills that help students build confidence, improve technique, and develop their own creative voice.
Every lesson is tailored to your goals, whether you're a complete beginner, an art student, or a professional looking to strengthen your portfolio. We can cover drawing fundamentals, painting, illustration, character design, composition, color theory, graphic design, murals, apparel graphics, or portfolio development.
My teaching style is hands-on and practical. Rather than relying only on theory, I break down professional workflows, explain why creative decisions matter, and provide exercises that can be applied immediately. Students receive constructive feedback and guidance based on years of experience working in both commercial and fine art.
