About Nandy
I am a certified adult and tertiary education teacher with qualifications in the life sciences. I have been teaching for over 10 years and have helped many students understand science in a way that it makes sense to them. From individual to large groups, the focus is on building the student's knowledge based on previous experiences and analogies.

I utilize scaffolding of knowledge, plenty of real life examples, meaningful analogies, and simple experiments using common household items. I have taught adult students in a Tertiary Education provider from level 6 to 9 and prefer to use methods that focus on application of knowledge and understanding, rather than memorization. If you understand, you will remember....if you simply memorize, you are likely to forget.
