I am bachelor in Mathematics, I have some experience in financial investments. Nowadays I am studying Data Science. My teaching method is interactive, and iterative. I use laptop, books and paper, examples, exercises and problems for best results.
My teaching method is to use real life and relatable situations as references while teaching. I also enjoy visual teaching as I believe it is more catchy and can be easily remembered. I believe in making my students set goals and targets for themselves with rewards for achieving the targets, this will keep them focussed and determined to accomplish their set target.
I'm able to aid anyone at GCSE level or below. The structure of the lessons will be entirely catered to the student's needs. They will also be taken through the subject areas at the individuals required pace, areas will be studied more if it's needed.
I can teach any area of A Level or lower mathematics, as I have completed this successfully myself. My way of teaching will adapt to each student but will generally try to make students as independent as possible by the end of the tutoring.
I have taught maths and computers to primary students. I believe to teach in friendly environment where students and teacher can have discussions over topics related to subjects. I try to start with easy problems first in order to get them proper understanding and knowledge about the respective problem.
I believe that the best way to teach is to encourage people to think instead of just bombarding their minds with loads of information that will increase the risk of students disengaging and losing interest. I feel that people must appreciate the background of what they are working on, in order to make them feel more excited about what they do.
I base my class approach on a case by case basis.
I will give lessons from simple primary school level maths (addition, subtration, multiplication etc.
Provided I am informed in advance of the topic for an arranged lesson, I will give my time to prepare fully around it before the sessions. Normally in the sessions I give simplified explanations along with worked examples discussing with the tutee. During the sessions, I ask reasonably progressive questions to make sure the tutee can understand the relevant concepts.
My name is Charles Heffernan and I am a Physics undergrad student at Cardiff University. My lessons are geared towards GCSE and A Level students having previously tutored for students in the age ranged of 13-18 years old.
I will give maths classes to primary and secondary level school children. I will follow simple methods and techniques for teaching. I can also provide multiple solutions for a single problem with shortcuts.
My teaching methods are to introduce algebraic working at a simple level or match the students current level then push them to exceed that level as far as possible. Sometimes taking student to a higher level than that required of them in order to help them establish how to solve problems in a mathematical way.
I believe in the gamification of my lectures and try to make things as simple as possible.
My teaching method is to choose what the child needs, do lots of progress tests and also make the lesson fun and interactive for the child to engage and learn.
Give lessons to students of A Levels and undergraduate students for numerical based subjects like maths and statistics. Good at teaching students and make sure they learn one the easiest way possible with enough test papers and examples.
My classes will be different depending on the person that I am teaching to. I will try to focus his needs and interests to the context of the classes. With the aim to create more interesting and useful classes to each person. But without losing the learning purpose.
Throughout my PGCE I tried many different teaching styles and have yet to pinpoint one that truly represents me. I am relaxed and easy going (when appropriate, of course) but I will always offer clear and concise methods and explanations within Mathematics.
I personally prefer flexible teaching methodology. As every students are unique, the same teaching method may not be effective to all students. Instead of having a standardised teaching method, I tend to first understand the backgrounds of students (e.g. academic level, personality, learning ability) then apply personalised teaching methods to them.
Everyone learns differently, so I aim to first tackle the topics that make up the foundation of Maths & Physics then proceeding onto the exam questions. I like to reinforce learning continuously so subjects are not forgotten. I look to establish the lessons topic before hand and set out a worksheet so the student is familiar with the lessons agenda.
I like to take a more relaxing and fun approach to teaching. I want to ensure that the student I am helping feels comfortable to ask questions and is aware that mistakes are made and that we learn from them. At the beginning of each session I would discuss with the student what they currently struggling with and what they feel they need more help with.
My teaching approach is to first find out all the topics the student needs help with and split each session to focus on an individual topic, putting emphasis on the areas where students struggle the most. I very much want to hear what the student wants most help with so I can provide them with the support they need.
I aim to give lessons to those up to University level.
My teaching is based on building strong relationships with learners to understand what they like, what really engages them. I then use this in my teaching to make the learning 'fun'. My philosophy is to teach using language learners can understand, rather than baffling them with terms they cannot make sense of. This has proven to be a very effective strategy for me in the classroom.
I am currently studying English Literature at Cardiff University and have also studied Mathematics at the University of Bristol. I have a passion for both of these subjects and have experience teaching both. Lessons will be structured as an accompaniment to school lessons; covering the basis of a topic and then expanding understanding through examples and different explanations.
Text/call: +(concealed information) (or Whatsapp) I structure the lessons to improve grades by focusing on areas of poor understanding. I usually will work through the topic with the student until the concepts are understood before past paper questions are answered with my assistance.
Step by step logical progressions underpinned by the Exam board specification for the subject and directed by your curriculum and areas you are currently covering or having difficulty with. I am patient, caring and meticulous in my work - I will put as much in as you do.
I am committed and motivating Maths tutor and offers maths lessons to pupils upto Key stage 3 ( both primary and secondary level ). I begin assessing the learner's strengths and weaknesses and will work with them in whichever way suits them best to increase their proficiency and confidence.
I am a fourth year Mechanical Engineering student at Cardiff University. I am able to provide lessons in Maths and Physics with the possibility of other subjects such as Geography and Chemistry up to a AS level standard. Having being through tuition myself I am provide a refreshing and young method of teaching which involves many different techniques tailored around the students needs.
My teaching method relies on finding out what the student needs to learn. I then structure the lesson and break the subject down into easily achievable pieces using previous experience. I also ensure that a recap is done at the end to see how far we've achieved.
Hey I'm a medical engineering student at Cardiff University, and on track for a first. At A-levels I did Maths, physics and Biology, achieving AAB. My approach to teaching is student depended, but I feel the best way to understand something that you find tricky is to approach It from a different angle, and what better way than with help from a tutor.
