I am currently working at Cardiff University on an industrial placement year as part of a BSc (Hons) Biology degree at the University of Manchester, a top Russell Group university. Throughout school and sixth form I participated in mentoring programmes, providing academic guidance to my peers for science and mathematics at both GCSE and A Level, with these students making considerable progress.
I like to take a more relaxing and fun approach to teaching. I want to ensure that the student I am helping feels comfortable to ask questions and is aware that mistakes are made and that we learn from them. At the beginning of each session I would discuss with the student what they currently struggling with and what they feel they need more help with.
Perfect the basics and the complicated 'stuff' will follow. Mathematics is like a maze. If you enter the maze without knowing the first few turns, no matter how hard you try, you will only become more lost. Simplicity is key in Mathemnatics. Tackle each question clearly and ALWAYS draw diagrams.
I aim to give lessons to those up to University level.
My classes will be different depending on the person that I am teaching to. I will try to focus his needs and interests to the context of the classes. With the aim to create more interesting and useful classes to each person. But without losing the learning purpose.
I prefer one-on-one tutoring and enjoy engaging my students with fun and challenging math problems. I like to apply math to real world situations to allow my students to fully understand the relevance and necessity of knowing and using math in their everyday lives.
I can give lessons up to A-Levels courses; which I just graduated with AAB, As for Physics and Italian and B for Maths. I like to teach my students with a more personal approach, talking to you in a way as a friend and not like every other strict teacher. I focus that you can understand to a 100% each topic, so you can achieve better grades.
I have just recently finished a maths degree in Cardiff university but back in A-levels I taught GCSE Maths. My approach to lessons are starting with a few short questions from previous weeks (I find this means when having to revise before exams it is less difficult to remember and therefore require less revision, giving yourself more time to revise for other subjects).
I base my classes on topics that the student is struggling with the most. From then on, I will go through the topics one-by-one in order of their weakest to their strongest. This is determined from the first lesson, which I use to base the following lessons on.
Try to alter the pace of lessons according to the ability of the students. Explain concepts from the grass root level in a logical manner so that the student is able to handle questions which he has not seen earlier.
My teaching method is to choose what the child needs, do lots of progress tests and also make the lesson fun and interactive for the child to engage and learn.
Give lessons to students of A Levels and undergraduate students for numerical based subjects like maths and statistics. Good at teaching students and make sure they learn one the easiest way possible with enough test papers and examples.
Throughout my PGCE I tried many different teaching styles and have yet to pinpoint one that truly represents me. I am relaxed and easy going (when appropriate, of course) but I will always offer clear and concise methods and explanations within Mathematics.
My teaching approach is to first find out all the topics the student needs help with and split each session to focus on an individual topic, putting emphasis on the areas where students struggle the most. I very much want to hear what the student wants most help with so I can provide them with the support they need.
I am a graduate with a masters degree in maths. I am able to tutor at any level up to and including undergraduate studies. I like to conduct lessons by first explaining the underlying principal behind a given problem and then solving many exercises related to it. Experience has shown this to the most effective way for the pupil to learn.
I'm happy to teach Maths to anyone up to A-Level standard. I have experience with children from a young age and believe in making lessons enjoyable and relatable so the student is not worried about making mistakes or completing homework but rather feels comfortable with the subject.
My nema is Zhe Cao, and I come from Beijing, China. I graduated from University of Arizona, USA. My major was Mechanical Engineering and minor was Mathematics. Hi I am a second year Economics and Mathematical Sciences undergraduate offering Maths tuition from secondary key stage 3 through to A-Level. Please note if you are studying A-levels I can not help with mechanics. Lessons tend to be structured as appropriate with plenty of real world examples used to help consolidate understanding.

I am a recent civil engineering graduate, having studied maths at every level of my education I am well placed to provide tutoring in maths from primary level to A-level. I will be going through the school curriculum the student is studying focussing on the areas they find the most challenging.
Before teaching, I worked as an engineer, researcher and statistician, so can show how topics are used practically at work. I have experience with special needs students and sometimes use LEGO to help engagement and understanding. I have extended DBS certification.
My teaching methods is completely different from other teachers.I access students mathematics level then I prepare maths work according to the students knowledge.I explain maths different ways such as English way Chines way and Srilankan way.I identify the way which is suite to the student then I apply that method.
My teaching method is VARK. i alway try to use this strategy to deliver my lesson, because i believe that more senses involve makes the learning more deepen. Through learning style, learners get opportunities to learn through visual and auditory and also they get the chance to develop their literacy and performing some tasks related to the learning topic.
I tend to believe in a practical approach, starting by showing you how to approach the subject or question, and then giving examples for you to try for yourself or to work through with me. I will make sure you understand what you're doing as you go along, and help if you ever get stuck on a question.
My lessons will be student-focused, finding the best ways the student will learn in order to achieve the best outcome. The lessons will be a mix of revision, examples, questions and more lecture based content in order to give the student the opportunity to fully learn and enjoy. The lessons will be fun and relaxed with no pressure or expectations.
My approach to teaching would be relaxed and friendly. As I am only 21 I would be able to relate to the student in a more open and approachable manner. I studied maths up to A-levels and have always enjoyed doing it.
